Who we are
GLC Web Solutions (“we”) runs this website at glcwebsolutions.co.uk. We design websites and provide search and paid marketing for small businesses.

Information we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you and to run the site.
- Details you send us. If you use a contact or enquiry form, email us, or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you choose to send, such as your name, email address, phone number and message. Forms also include the address of the page you sent them from.
- Technical information. When you browse the site, our host (Cloudflare) may record your IP address, browser, device and the pages you visit. Google Tag Manager also loads Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Ads, which can record the same kind of visit information. We use this to keep the site secure, see which pages are useful, and measure advertising.
- Embedded video. Some pages include a YouTube video. If you press play, YouTube may collect information under its own privacy policy.
How we use it
- To reply to you and carry out the work you ask us to do.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To understand how the site is used.
- Where the law requires us to keep a record.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing emails. We only use the details you send us to reply to you.
Who we share it with
We share information only with services that help us run the site and reply to you:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the website.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure visits and advertising.
- Meta Ads, also loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure advertising.
- YouTube, if you play an embedded video.
- Our email provider, which delivers messages from the forms to us.
How long we keep it
We keep client and enquiry records from this website for 12 months, then delete them.
Google account data used by our reporting tool
We run a private reporting tool, the GLC Reporting Hub, to report on the performance of our clients' websites and advertising. When a client gives us access, the tool signs in with Google and reads:
- Google Analytics: website visit and conversion reports.
- Google Search Console: search performance reports, such as clicks, impressions and search terms.
- Google Ads: campaign performance reports, such as spend, clicks and conversions.
We only read this data. We use it to produce reports for the client it belongs to, and for nothing else. We don't sell it, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone else. We don't use it to train AI models.
The data is kept on our own secure computer and deleted when we stop working with the client. A client can withdraw our access at any time, either by removing us in Google Analytics, Search Console or Google Ads, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. They can also email gareth@glcwebsolutions.co.uk to ask us to delete their data.
The GLC Reporting Hub's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also object to how we use it. Email gareth@glcwebsolutions.co.uk.
You can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
The site uses small text files (cookies) so it can load securely. Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Ads may also set cookies to measure visits and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page.
